If you see him, call 911.
The sheriff’s office is asking the public to avoid the area of Upper Riverdale Road and Arrowhead Blvd. due to a heavy sheriff’s office and police presence.
Deputies said they spotted Wright inside a car with a dealer license plate.
When deputies tried to make a traffic stop, Wright sped away, reaching speeds of over 100 mph.
Wright eventually exited off of Tara Blvd. and crashed into two vehicles that were waiting at a red light. No one was injured.
Wright then crashed into a pole and took off running.
The sheriff’s office said he ended up in the woods.
At the same time, Clayton County police were responding to an unrelated call at an apartment complex where shots were fired.
Police aren’t sure if Wright was responsible for those shots.
The Clayton County Sheriff’s Office said Wright likely led them on a chase because he was already on probation for fleeing and eluding police.
