CLAYTON COUNTY, Ga. — Clayton County Schools said a positive COVID-19 case will impact a number of bus routes throughout the district.
The district did not get into specifics about who was impacted by the positive case but said the district will impose a 10-day quarantine for everyone impacted.
Those affected will be told to quarantine until Aug. 16.

“All families impacted will be contacted by school administrators and given key instructions related to the mandatory quarantine and instructional models during the quarantine period,” the district said in a news release. “The district will continue to follow the school system’s safety protocols for sanitizing the classroom(s) and other possible affected areas in the school and on the buses, in addition to working in partnership with the Clayton County Health Department.”
Clayton County School said it requires all students and employees to wear facial coverings.
