Shootout on Clayton County MARTA bus leaves innocent bystander injured

CLAYTON COUNTY, Ga. — MARTA Police are investigating another shooting, this time at their Clayton County station Channel 2 Action News has learned.

Police say around 3 p.m., two passengers on board a bus at Garden Walk Boulevard and Highway 85 shot at one another while exiting the bus.

Officials say the shooting continued as they exited the bus and continued down the street. The shooting between the two individuals led to an innocent bystander and one of the shooters suffering injuries to their legs.

It is unclear if their injuries are related to being shot, however, both are stable.

Clayton County and MARTA Police detained both shooters involved and recovered the guns used.
