“As a precaution, additional security presence may be seen at some school sites as well as the deployment of school lockdowns as deemed necessary by school-based leaders,” Clayton County officials said. “Our students are our first priority and we are dedicated to ensuring they receive the education needed to compete as global and socially aware citizens.”

A parent shared a photo of the post that is circulating on social media with Channel 2 Action News, which is of a threat scrawled on a bathroom wall and a bullet on a toilet seat. The exact same image prompted a lockdown at Brookwood High School in Gwinnett County earlier this week. That threat does appear to have originated at Brookwood.
