CLAYTON COUNTY, Ga. — A man is dead after he was hit by a vehicle in Clayton County on Sunday.
Just before 6 p.m. the City of Forest Park Police Department responded to the intersection of First Road and Old Dixie Highway in reference to a person hit by a car.

When they arrived, they found a Hispanic man laying in the roadway unconscious and not breathing.
Police rendered aid to the man until Forest Park Fire and Emergency Services arrived on scene; however, the man died on scene.

The investigation is ongoing. The victim’s name will not be released until the next of kin has been notified, police officials said.
