CLAYTON COUNTY, Ga. — Teens accused of breaking into a home and stealing guns are on the street and making threatening comments on social media.
Brian Smith was disturbed when he realized someone broke into his home on Fallawater Circle Thursday and stole his handgun and a rifle.
"That gun doesn't need to be in those guys' hands at all," Smith told told Channel 2's Tom Jones.
Smith was even more upset when he saw social media photos of some neighborhood teens holding one of the weapons.
"These guys are just young and don't have any common sense nowadays," he told Jones.

Someone told Smith they saw several teens in front of his house after the robbery. Smith believes those teens are the ones who stole his guns. Channel 2 is not identifying the teens since no charges have been filed.
Smith is frustrated because he said he showed police the photos and they haven't made an arrest.
"I don't think Clayton County is really taking this thing seriously," he told Jones.
Jones reached out to Clayton County police Monday. A spokesperson said the department hasn't assigned the case to a detective yet. He said the sergeant is going to make this a top priority.
Smith is concerned because the posts mentioned shooting someone. He said officers need to act fact to get these teens off the street.
“If they go out and kill somebody with that firearm, I would feel guilty,” Smith said. "I want police to actually catch these guys. Bring them in, bring them to justice. They need to learn a lesson."
