COBB COUNTY, Ga. — A woman has been arrested for arson after investigators said she set a home on fire in Cobb County.
Cobb County Fire and Emergency Services Fire Investigations Unit said an arrest warrant was obtained on Friday for Elizabeth Anne Shepherd, 46.

CCFES said they were called out to the 5000 block of Woodland Drive about a residential structure fire.
When personnel got to the scene, they said they found “multiple points of origin.”
After an investigation, CCFES determined the fire was set.

Shepard was taken into custody and CCFES said she has been charged with arson.
She is being held in the Cobb County Adult Detention Center without bond. Her motive is unclear.
