COBB COUNTY, Ga. — A sexual assault on a high school campus has students and parents on edge.
Police say 15-year-old Eriq Alexander will be charged as an adult for allegedly sexually assaulting another student during school hours.
Channel 2's Cobb County Bureau Chief Chris Jose learned the assault happened inside an elevator at Wheeler High School.
The details of the arrest warrant Jose obtained are too graphic to share.

"I just feel like this can be prevented, what could’ve been done, to keep this from happening, to be protecting our kids," said parent Rene Dodd.
Dodd said she has demanded enhanced safety measures at all Cobb County schools.
Jose emailed a list of questions to a district spokeswoman on Thursday morning, including if parents were notified about the alleged assault.
Jose called the spokeswoman’s cellphone late Thursday afternoon. She would only say we cannot comment on student discipline related to specific students.
Dodd believes at the very least, students and parents should have been told about the alleged sexual assault.
"The culture in Cobb is just to try and hide everything," Cobb said.
This is the second story Jose has reported involving sexual misconduct at Wheeler High School.
In September, a student was arrested for exposing himself to another student.
