1 injured, 1 dead after shooting at Cobb County apartment complex overnight, police say

COBB COUNTY, Ga. — Cobb County police said one person was injured and one person was killed overnight in a shooting at an apartment complex.

Officers responded to reports of a shooting at the Gables Mills Apartments in Cumberland about two people shot.

Officials believe this shooting was the result of a domestic dispute.

Police say the area is now safe for the public.

Officers are expected to provide an update later on Wednesday.
