MARIETTA, Ga. — Police have charged a 20-year-old woman after an alleged drunk driving incident in Cobb County.

Around 2 a.m. Wednesday, Marietta Police responded to a car accident on Roswell Road at Cobb Parkway.
Hannah White, 20, of Dallas, Georgia was driving a 2001 Ford Explorer traveling northbound on Cobb Parkway.
Sophia Hayes, 44, of Mableton was driving a 2023 Tesla 3 traveling westbound on Roswell Road.
During the investigation, officials said Hayes was stopped at the traffic signal at Cobb Parkway, while White was speeding and trying to make a right turn onto Roswell Road.

White then reportedly failed to maintain her lane and hit the Tesla in the back on the left passenger door.
Marietta authorities said Alexandra Skinner, 22, was sitting on the left side in the back of the Tesla and reportedly suffered life-threatening injuries.
Skinner was taken to Wellstar Kennestone Regional Medical Center for treatment.
Noah McEarchern, 23, of Buford, was also sitting in the back of the Tesla on the right side and was taken to the hospital with serious injuries.

Police said White was not injured in the crash and was arrested at the scene. She was transported to the Cobb County Adult Detention Center and charged with DUI, serious injury by vehicle, and other traffic-related charges.
