The alleged shooter told police the rifle he was holding accidently went off while filming a music video that was supposed to show a staged armed robbery that he was a part of with the victim and three others.
“The way I see everything right now, is we’ve kind of entered this state of lawlessness in this country where people just think they can get away with all this stuff,” Zaremba said.
Terrence Speer and Antoine Malone are facing charges that include murder and armed robbery.
During a probable cause hearing Thursday for Speer, the lead detective who took the stand said security cameras captured the group dancing with guns and later showed Speer and Malone shoving a rifle into the victim’s head twice, then Speer is seen stealing a gun from the victim and took off with two others.
The judge ruled that there is enough evidence against Speer for the criminal case to continue and he was denied bond.
