MARIETTA, Ga. — A car fire in a parking deck at Wellstar Kennestone Hospital in Marietta has prompted road closures in the area.
The fire broke out in the blue tower parking deck.

Marietta fire told Channel 2′s Michele Newell that only one car caught on fire but at least 20 cars had smoke damage. Smoke could be seen for miles, according to employees and witness video.

Newell is at the scene, where fire crews have put out the flames but are still working to clear the scene.
Kennestone Hospital Boulevard and Tower Road are closed from Church Street Extension to North Avenue. Marietta police the road could be blocked for a few hours while crews investigate.
Fire officials told Newell that nine cars are stuck in the garage while the fire department investigates.
