COBB COUNTY, Ga. — A competitive cheerleading coach is out of a job after police say he sexually assaulted a child.

Now, some parents are concerned that he’s already out of jail.

Parents showed Channel 2 Cobb County bureau chief Chris Jose a Facebook post that Donald Jones Jr. posted on his page just hours after his release from jail.

Police say there’s no indication there's more than one victim.

Carolyn Garrison owns Rockstar Cheer Atlanta in Woodstock. She told Jose that she fired Jones after police arrested him in the early hours of Sunday morning.

“If I’m hurting, I can’t imagine what they’re feeling,” Garrison said about her students.

The now-former cheerleading coach is charged with enticing a child and three counts of aggravated child molestation.

“I am working on their children’s behalf, to support them, to protect them and encourage them,” Garrison said. "I'm not kidding when I say these kids are my kids."

Some mothers told Jose off-camera Monday that they’re concerned Jones is out of jail on a $100,000 bond.

Shortly after his release, Jones posted a public message on his Facebook page that says: “if someone sticks by your side through your worst times, they’re the ones who deserve to be with you through your best times.”

Cobb police would not confirm if the child is a student at the gym, but Jose learned the victim is 15.

Most of the details in the arrest warrant are too graphic to share. Investigators say Jones picked the teen up, drove back to his house on Deen Road and sexually assaulted him Thursday.

When Jose stopped at Jones’ Cobb County home on Monday, he saw a pack of big dogs outside the house, but no sign of Jones.

“My feeling right now is that we’re all in this together as a family,” Garrison said.

Garrison said counselors will be available at Rockstar Cheer Atlanta on Monday night. On Tuesday, she’ll have one-on-one meetings with concerned parents.

Under his bond condition, Jones is not allowed to be around children younger than 16.
