COBB COUNTY, Ga — A dog that was stuck deep in a sewer drain was saved by firefighters, according to a Facebook post from Cobb County Fire & Emergency Services.
Trixie, who was traveling with her truck driver, was exploring an unfamiliar area during a pit stop when she fell about 12 feet into a storm sewer drain.
Crews were able to drop an air monitoring device and set up a rope system to lower a firefighter into the drain system.

Trixie was so happy to be rescued that she came straight to a firefighter as she was lifted out of the drain.
Trixie went to the vet to get checked out, although she will ultimately be OK, according to fire officials.
