MABELTON, Ga. — A Cobb County student has a pretty big decision to make as she gets ready to graduate high school.
Kamryn Stargell has been accepted into 29 universities that she now has to choose between.
Stargell’s laptop was blowing up back in March as emails from top colleges coast to coast began pouring in.

“After all of the hard work we put in applying to them, it was really a breath of fresh air knowing I got into college, if I just got into one of them,” Stargell told Channel 2′s Berndt Petersen.
The North Atlanta High School student does not have to worry about how she is going to pay for it. She was offered a total of $2,300,000 in scholarship money.
“I mean, honestly, I had a goal of $1 million. But when it kept going? Wow! We are truly blessed and this is more than I could ever have imagined,” her mother Kristie Stargell said.
Her mom says her pursuit of excellence started when she was small.
When you take a 4.0 GPA, add in working at Chick-fil-A, the National Honor Society, Black Student Union, violin, cross country, soccer, cheerleading and much more, it’s no surprise Kamryn is among the best and brightest.
“I always tell my girls the sky is the limit. If you believe you can do it, you can do it,” said Kristie Stargell.
What she wants to do is become Dr. Stargell in just a few years.
“I definitely want to become an OBGYN or somewhere in the medical field. Hopefully going on to medical school after undergrad. That’s my goal, my plan,” said Kamryn.
