COBB COUNTY, Ga. — Law enforcement officers have detained a woman after she barricaded herself inside a home in a Cobb County neighborhood.
Video shared with Channel 2 Action News shows more than a dozen officers in the Silverton neighborhood on Silverton Trail off of Riverside Pkwy. on Thursday afternoon.

The sheriff’s office confirmed to Channel 2 Cobb County Bureau Chief Michele Newell that the domestic violence unit went to the home to serve a temporary protective order.
They say she experienced a mental health situation and barricaded herself inside the home.
SWAT teams had to breach the door to get her out.

She made threats towards deputies, but no weapons were found.
She was detained and will be taken to a medical facility.
Her identity has not been released.
