MARIETTA, Ga. — The family of a 21-year-old woman who was hit and killed after getting a flat tire along Interstate 75 is now trying to raise the money so they can bury her in her native home of Brazil.
Marietta police said Eduarda Cristina Romano DaSilva, 21, had pulled her car over to check on her tire when she was rear-ended by a driver and run over.
The other driver was “ripped” from their car in the impact and was also run over by another car. Both died on the scene.
