COBB COUNTY, Ga. — The Georgia Bureau of Investigation and the Federal Bureau of Investigation have both been called to an officer-involved shooting in Powder Springs.
Channel 2′s Tom Jones was on Brownsville Road, where there was a large police presence Monday night and a car crashed into the woods.
Police said officers were chasing an armed robbery suspect when they felt threatened and started shooting at him. The suspect was hit in the arm and kept driving.
Police were able to perform a PIT maneuver, which caused the driver to crash into the woods.
