Two people are dead after a shooting at a busy shopping center off Cobb Parkway in broad daylight.
It happened at the Cumberland Market Place shopping center in Smyrna Thursday. Police said they received a call about a shooting around 5:50 p.m.
When officers arrived, they found two men shot and killed in the parking lot. The man who fired the gun is still on the loose.

“It’s an extremely busy part of town. Family dining, shopping. It’s an extremely busy side of town,” Sgt. Louis Defense with the Smyrna Police Department said.
Defense said investigators are working to get something on the gunman out to the public.
