COBB COUNTY, Ga. — A high school student is facing charges for a sex crime he allegedly committed on campus.

Investigators told Channel 2's Chris Jose that Seloncoeur Pharisien, 17, exposed himself in a lewd way.

Police say it happened inside Wheeler High School.

Most of the details in the arrest warrant are too graphic to share, but according to the report the alleged sex act took place within a two-hour time frame in the school’s media center.

Police say at one point Pharisien showed naked pictures of himself and asked a girl how she felt about the image.

“I pray for her, I hope she can get over it, be able to move on from it. I pray this won’t ever happen again,” student Mitchell Fountain said.

Fountain described Pharisien as the kind of student who kept to himself, but Fountain and other students said this behavior was unusual and unlike him.

Pharisien is charged with public indecency, but the investigation is still ongoing.

Fountain said he’s glad his classmate is facing charges over the alleged incident.

“It’s great to hear he was caught, that he’s not getting away free doing that,” Fountain said.

Jose called Pharisien’s parents on Monday, but they haven’t returned his call.

Jail records show the teenager turned himself in a day after the alleged sex crime.

His parents bailed him out.
