COBB COUNTY, Ga — It’s a frequent target for drivers –— and it has happened once again.
Historic Concord Covered Bridge in Smyrna was temporarily closed on Halloween after a delivery van hit a protective beam, Cobb County officials said.

The bridge was shut down for around three hours until crews were able to clear the area, officials said.
The bridge has been a thorn in the side of many Cobb County drivers for years.

According to the bridge’s website, it has been a fixture in the area since the 19th century.
