COBB COUNTY, Ga. — Police said a man is behind bars after he forced his way into a woman's East Cobb home, attacking her in the middle of the day.
Kendal Chaves, 34, is at the Cobb County jail with no bond.
Police said on Friday at around 11:30 a.m., Chaves knocked on a bedroom window. A woman opened the door to see who was outside. Most of the details in the warrant Channel 2 Action News obtained are too graphic to share but investigators said Chaves forced his way into the home.
Neighbors said they've been curious all weekend to find out why Cobb police were at the home.
"It's frightening. It's very scary," said Jackie Kennis who lives nearby.

Kennis said she's worried because there are dozens of children in the neighborhood and several stay at home mothers.
"(It) just gives me chills. That’s really scary," she said. "Our prayers are with her. And if there’s anything we can do, as a neighborhood, as a community, we’ll rally around her and help her feel safe."
Jail records show police arrested Chaves at a home less than two miles away from the victim's house.
When Channel 2's Chris Jose approached the door for answers, someone came to the door but walked away.
