Goslow’s win alone wasn’t enough to secure his place in the finals, however. He also has to beat at least one other semi-final winner. According to the ‘Jeopardy!’ website, out of the four semi-final winners, the three with the highest-scoring performances in the semi-finals will advance.

In the second half of the episode, Stanford University student Isaac Applebaum beat his opponents with a score just over $18,801.

With Goslow’s scoring higher in the semi-finals than Applebaum, he’s secured his spot in the finals.
