ATLANTA — Channel 2 Action News has learned a Kennesaw State women's basketball player has been arrested and charged with murder.
Fulton County Jail records show Kamiyah Street, the team's starting point guard, was arrested Thursday. Atlanta police confirmed her arrest is connected to a deadly shooting that happened July 16.
Atlanta police confirmed they charged Street for her alleged role in the shooting death of a man whose body was discovered in the parking deck of the Heritage Station apartments on McDaniel Street.
Police identified the victim as 21-year-old Nashiem Hubbard-Etienne.
Street is charged with eight counts, including felony murder and aggravated assault with a deadly weapon. Police said three additional suspects are in custody in the case: Tabias Wells, Cortez Banks and Johnerton Gilstrap. They are also charged with murder and a long list of other charges. Police say they are still searching for one more suspect, Dontacus Brantley.

Channel 2's Michael Seiden spoke with the victim's mother Saturday night.
"What are they going to do about this girl? Why is she still able to believe and enjoy life as if she did nothing?" said Maiyannie Hubbard-Armster.
Those questions have been on the grieving mother's mind since the day detectives identified her son.
Hubbard-Armster told Seiden Hubbard moved to Atlanta to be with his father and pursue a degree at Georgia State University.
"He has a huge heart for children and a huge heart for the misguided," she said.
But his dreams of one day becoming an entrepreneur ended over the summer. Police said Hubbard was shot and killed in the parking deck of the Heritage Station apartments.
"My son was not who they were after, but like most situations, the innocent one always catches the bullet," Hubbard-Armster said.
The athletic department confirmed the arrest and shared this statement with Channel 2 Action News and our partners at the Atlanta Journal-Constitution:
"We were made aware Thursday evening that Kamiyah Street of the KSU women's basketball team was arrested and is being held, pending charges. The individual has been suspended indefinitely from all women's basketball team and athletic activities. Neither the university nor the athletic department have any additional information at this time."
Street's biography has been removed from the athletic department's website. Street is an Atlanta native and graduated from Mays High School.
The junior had played in every game this season, including a 32-point performance four days before her arrest. Kennesaw State was on the road Saturday at UNC-Wilmington.
