COBB COUNTY, Ga. — A grandmother charged with the murder of her daughter-in-law, an elementary school teacher, is back behind bars.
Elizabeth Wall went before a judge Friday where she became emotional when she was denied bond.
Police charged the 63-year-old woman with the murder of her own daughter in-law, Jenna Wall.
The 35-year-old was shot dead inside a Powder Springs home Thursday, while her two sons were outside.
Channel 2’s Audrey Washington reported seeing Elizabeth Wall looking dazed and hanging her head during the proceedings. %

“Just thinking what those poor children have witnessed and what they will have to go through for the rest of their lives is sad,” neighbor Linda Davis said.
According to an arrest warrant, Elizabeth Wall arrived at Jenna Wall's home with her grandsons, ages 7 and 8. She told them to wait outside in a pickup truck.
Police said the boys heard several gunshots from the home.
“We’ve been able to get a good bit of information from them. They are safe. They are sound. They are at our Crimes Against Children Unit. They are being interviewed,” said Cobb police Sgt. Dana Pierce.
The boys' father, Jerrod Wall, was alerted by a strange call from his mother and went to the home to find Elizabeth Wall sitting in the living room holding a gun.
Neighbors said Jenna Wall lived at the home with her parents and was a kindergarten teacher at nearby Kemp Elementary School.
The parking lot of the school was packed with people grieving the teacher Friday.
Neighbors said Jenna Wall and her husband were going through a divorce. Jerrod Wall claimed in a filing just weeks ago that Jenna Wall was having an affair and had taken the boys on one of the encounters.
Jerrod Wall claimed that Jenna Wall was keeping the boys from him and denying his visitation time. He is being questioned by investigators.
Jerrod Wall is an investigator at the Paulding District Attorney’s Office. The DA said the investigator was at their Dallas office when the shooting happened.
