Officer Turbo is an 8-year veteran of the force, joining the department in May of 2013.

Turbo and his partner/handler Officer Josh Hale were diligent and successful at their jobs with numerous arrests and made Hale sure he and his partner went home safely after each shift at work.

Hale and his family have adopted Turbo and the pair will no doubt continue having their adventures, this time of the recreational variety.

At the same meeting a short time later, Arrow was introduced to the residents of Kennesaw as the city’s newest K9 officer.

He’s a 1 1/2-year-old Dutch Shepherd from Poland certified in Tracking, Apprehension, Evidence Recovery, and Narcotics.

Arrow will be Hale’s newest partner and we suspect Arrow will have plenty of opportunities to learn the business from Turbo in his off-time.
