A warrant obtained by Channel 2 Cobb County Bureau Chief Michele Newell shows that Kriscella Baker stole more than $11,000 instead of doing her job.
“It’s bad because people entrust in you when it comes down to paying their rent,” one tenant who didn’t want to be identified said.
He says he had no idea that Baker stole rent payments.
“Do you feel you should have received some sort of notification about it?” Newell asked.
“Yes...we should know, as resident in the apartment, we should know what’s going on in the apartment,” he responded.

Newell stopped by the leasing office to see if Baker is still employed at Mableton Ridge. The regional manager would not share any information, but said she would pass Newell’s information to her legal team.
