AUSTELL, Ga. — A man is in critical condition after police said he are dead and a third is in critical condition after a triple shooting at a Cobb County home.
The shooting happened off Peel Castle Lane in Austell sometime before 9 p.m. Sunday night. Channel 2′s Audrey Washington went to the scene where she learned the victims were all related.

Dreyon Mathis, 31, and his 8-year-old son died from their injuries. His brother Jermery Mathis, 27, remains in critical condition with a self-inflicted gunshot wound. He is accused of killing his brother and nephew.

Washington spotted at least a dozen family members and friends at the scene. Investigators are still working to learn what led to the shooting.
