The victim, Sondra Dillon, said she's still having nightmares about the horrifying experience.
"I wasn't more than 20 steps away from my car, and he came out of nowhere," Dillon said.
She said she was meeting a friend at the grocery store when she was attacked.
"(He) shot out like a bird flying in and stopped the car. (He) jumped out. It was all in a flash," Dillon said.
Dillon said she doesn't remember much, but knows he punched her in the face and snatched her purse.
"I think he was a loner person and just needed some money and something to drink," Dillon said.
Despite all of this, she has a positive outlook.
"The good part is that I am alive and talking to you," Dillon said.
