COBB COUNTY, Ga. — Cobb County police are searching for a man who they say lured two girls with cash, exposed himself to them and then groped them.
The girls' father told Channel 2 Cobb County Bureau Chief Chris Jose that the stranger saw the girls riding their bikes.
The girls were being watched by their aunt, Laverne Ghee, last Friday when the alleged incident happened. She told Jose that she confronted the man after he approached the girls, ages 6 and 7.
“I said, 'What did he look like? Take me to him,'” Ghee said.
She said her nieces then ran for help as she confronted the man.
“He said he’s grown. I said, ‘I don’t care how grown you are. You have no business touching these little girls,’” Ghee said.
In a panic, Ghee called the girls' father, Reginald Hubbard.

“From this day on, we don’t know who he is,” Hubbard said. “He told them he was a rapper or something. So that’s how they struck up the conversation.”
Hubbard said the man groped his daughters and lured them to an apartment by offering them cash.
“He opened the door and exposed himself to them,” Hubbard said.
That’s when the girls ran away.
“When they got away from him, they jumped on their bikes and came down here riding as fast as they could,” Hubbard told Jose.
The man now fears the stranger intended to kidnap his kids.
“He’s a sick individual who needs to be caught. He don’t need to get away with it,” Hubbard said. “I wouldn’t even say (he’s) a monster. Something worse than a monster. If you can find something worse than that to say, he’s worse than that in my book.”
Investigators told Jose that they don’t believe the man lives in the neighborhood.
Due to the victims' ages police could not release much information about the situation, but they did confirm it's an active case.
