COBB COUNTY, Ga. — Police say a triple shooting at a Waffle House spilled from Fulton County into Cobb County when two of the victims showed up at a gas station in Smyrna.

It all started on Fulton Industrial Boulevard early Tuesday morning, police say.

Investigators were collecting surveillance video and trying to piece together what happened just before noon Tuesday.

They now say a large fight led to gunfire right in the parking lot of the Waffle House. Police found one victim at the restaurant when they arrived.

Two of the victims managed to make it all the way over to the RaceTrac gas station on South Cobb Drive in Smyrna.

Police told Channel 2's Christian Jennings a security guard at the RaceTrac actually called them because he noticed two people with gunshot wounds buying cigarettes.

Jennings was at the gas station, where police were focusing on two of the gas pumps in particular.

There are still no arrests in the case.

A Waffle House customer told Jennings he was pretty freaked out when he heard about the triple shooting.

"The area is a bad area but for this to happen is very scary, so I won't be going there no more," Pat Sarumi said.
