COBB COUNTY, Ga. — The Cobb County Sheriff’s Office has come up with a new way to honor two fallen deputies and help their families.
The department announced Tuesday that it is selling specially designed coins honoring deputies Marshall Ervin Jr. and Jonathan Koleski.
Koleski and Ervin Jr. were both shot and killed on Sept. 8 as they attempted to execute a warrant in Marietta.

The sheriff’s office said the special coins are “available for purchase and the proceeds will go to the families of the fallen.”
For every $10 coin, $6 will be donated to the families.
