Sports bar chain co-owned by former Falcons foe to open up location in metro Atlanta

COBB COUNTY, Ga. — A sports bar co-owned by a New Orleans Saints Super Bowl winner and Falcons foe is opening up in metro Atlanta.

Drew Brees, who starred at quarterback for the Falcons’ NFC South rival from 2006 to 2020, is the co-owner of Walk-On’s Sports Bistreaux. The restaurant and bar announced it will open up a location in Marietta.

The Cajun-inspired restaurant will serve seafood, burgers, and salads along with different beers and cocktails, according to its website.

The restaurant will be located on Dallas Highway at the Avenue at West Cobb.

Brees joined as a co-owner in 2015 after expressing interest in the business, according to the restaurant’s website

This will be the second Georgia location of Walk-On’s Sports Bistreaux. The first one is located in Warner Robins.

There are more than 100 restaurant locations across 15 different states at this point.
