The victim lived in Douglasville while the suspect is from Fairburn. It’s unclear if they knew each other.

Newell spoke with customers and employees at the mall, who can’t wrap their minds around how someone would intentionally plow someone down.

Jasmine Baker works at the mall, but wasn’t around on Sunday when police showed up.
