Police confirmed three people were killed in an early morning crash on Interstate 75 northbound in Cobb County Tuesday.
Triple Team Traffic reported on the crash during Channel 2 Action News This Morning. The crash happened around 5:45 a.m. near the North Marietta Parkway entrance ramp.

Police said a Nissan Rogue had stopped in the center lane of the interstate for unknown reasons.
A tractor-trailer collided with the car heading northbound. All three people inside the car were declared dead at the scene. The driver of the tractor-trailer was not injured.
The driver of the Nissan Rogue has been identified as 41-year-old Quatrina Porter. The passengers of the vehicle have been identified as 42-year-old Eddie Murphy and 21-year-old Haamid Williams. All three are from Austell.
The investigation into the crash remains open. Anyone with information is asked to contact the lead investigator at 770-794-5357.
