Authorities said an undercover officer saw Adedovah walking up to a Wells Fargo ATM in gloves, a mask and a hooded sweatshirt.
He appeared to make a transaction and then sprinted back to a nearby vehicle, police said. When officers stopped that car, they discovered items pointing to suspected fraudulent activity, according to police.
Officers said they also found amphetamines and marijuana in the car.
Adedovah is not charged with financial fraud. He is facing drug charges.
The Wells Fargo Fraud Department is investigating the allegations.
