COBB COUNTY, Ga. — Trulieve, a medical marijuana distribution company with Georgia locations, announced that a cannabis-based nasal spray would be available at their stores starting Wednesday.
The nasal spray, called Momenta, will be available at its Marietta and Macon dispensaries.
According to Trulieve, Momenta Nasal Spray is intended for patients “suffering from seizures,” and has “fast-acting effects when anticipating the onset of a seizure.”

Due to its fast-acting effects, Momenta is described by Trulieve as something the body quickly absorbs, “making it a practical vaporizer alternative.”
As listed by the company, the nasal spray’s main benefits are:
- Fast-acting effects
- Typically used when anticipating the onset of a seizure
- Increased bioavailability by reducing first-pass metabolism
- Used intranasally
- Practical alternative to vaporizers

Trulieve first opened its operations in Georgia in April, with the Marietta and Macon locations.
The cannabis company is also planning to open three more spots in Georgia by the end of 2023.
The additional three locations are expected to be opened in Columbus, Newnan, and Pooler.
