The 2025 national championship game will kick off another impressive run of major sporting events for Atlanta. Earlier this summer, FIFA named Atlanta as one of 16 cities to host the 2026 World Cup.
The city has previously hosted 1996 Centennial Olympic Games, three Super Bowl games, four NCAA Men’s Final Four tournaments and the SEC Championship game every year since 1994.
