Coronavirus in Georgia: More than 500 dead across the state

ATLANTA — There are now 14,578 confirmed cases of coronavirus with 524 deaths in Georgia, according to new data released at 7 p.m. on Tuesday. At least 2,858 cases have required hospitalization.

There were 13,621 and 480 deaths as of Monday. At least 2,702 people had been hospitalized.

There are 21 new deaths reported since the state’s public health department numbers yesterday. Dougherty County has reported the most deaths at 78.
