- Mayor Keisha Lance Bottoms announced live on Channel 2 Action News on Sunday night that she’s signed an executive order that bans crowds of 250 people or more and declared a state of emergency in metro Atlanta.
- The number of coronavirus cases in Georgia has risen to 99. One person has died.
- Falcons and Atlanta United owner Arthur Blank says he will take care of full-time, hourly associates for both teams and for Mercedes-Benz Stadium. We’re working to learn more details

- An employee with the Newton County School System has tested positive for the virus. The employee works at the Newton County theme school.
- A third staff member at Fulton County Schools has tested positive for the virus.

- Georgia Power and Atlanta Gas Light both announced they will temporarily suspend service disconnections.

- Schools have released information on how students can continue to get meal service through bus deliveries.
- Quarantined ship passengers have begun returning home from Dobbins Air Reserve Base.
- A Georgia Waffle House cook who contracted the virus and was quarantined at a state park has been released.
