PEACHTREE CITY, Ga. — A man and woman face several drug charges after police say they sped away in a Tesla.
Peachtree City Police arrested 24-year-old Nicolas Morin and 19-year-old Emma Porcella on Feb. 19.

Investigators say they spotted Morin’s Tesla speeding at more than 90 miles per hour on Highway 74 near Kelly Drive.
The car sped away but was later spotted and stopped at St. Andrews Square and Flat Creek Road, according to Lt. Chris Hyatt.

Lt. Hyatt said Morin refused to get out of the car and resisted arrest.
Peachtree City Police say they found suspected cocaine, THC, psilocybin mushrooms and marijuana.
Both Morin and Porcella face several drug charges. Morin is also charged with obstruction of an officer, fleeing/eluding law enforcement and speeding.
