COWETA COUNTY, Ga. — Two men have been arrested on murder charges after police say three people were shot multiple times, leaving one man dead in Coweta County.
The Coweta County Sheriff’s Office responded to reports of a shooting around 11:25 p.m. Friday on Belk Road.
Deputies found a man and a woman who each had multiple gunshot wounds. The man was pronounced dead at the scene. The woman was flown to Atlanta Medical Center for treatment.

The woman was able to identify the shooter as Dezmin Jennings, and gave officers a description of the car involved.
Shortly after the shooting, Jennings walked in to Piedmont Newnan Hospital with two gunshot wounds. He was taken to Grady Hospital and treated before being released to the sheriff’s office. He is being charged with felony murder and aggravated assault.
On Saturday, investigators found the car that the woman identified. The person driving, Corey Coleman, was taken in for questioning and charged with felony murder. Additional charges are pending.
The Georgia Bureau of Investigation is assisting with the crime scene.
The female victim’s condition has not been released. Neither victim has been identified.
