COWETA COUNTY, Ga. — Police say two teenagers in a car stolen near Hartsfield-Jackson Atlanta International Airport led officers on a chase that ended with sheriff's deputies firing gunshots, but no one was injured.

Newnan police Deputy Chief Mark Cooper said Larri Wright and Randy King, both 17-year-olds, are jailed in Coweta County after the pursuit that started Sunday morning. Officers had responded to a car break-in a stolen iPad at a fitness center.

The chase, reaching 100 mph, had closed part of Interstate 85. County deputies used spike strips to stop the car.

Newly released dashcam video obtained by Channel 2 investigative reporter Nicole Carr shows Newnan police leaving a shopping center where a victim tracked his stolen iPad to the white Jaguar, which was stolen from a car rental company near the Atlanta airport.

In one piece of cellphone video a Channel 2 viewer sent us Sunday, a deputy can be seen catching up to one of the teens but police said the other managed to cross eight lanes of traffic and a barrier wall. When he held up his gun, Coweta County deputies said they opened fire.

No one was injured and the teen was found more than an hour later under a woodpile, a quarter mile from the highway where that chase brought traffic to a halt.
