When the deputy tried to pull him over, the driver, later identified as Bryan Hampton, 29, sped up to 150 mph.
As the chase continued south, Grantville police prepared themselves to intercept the car as it crossed into their jurisdiction.
Once the car was stopped, Hampton was taken into custody. Officers then learned that Hampton’s fiancé and three children were also in the car. At least one of the children was not wearing a seatbelt.
