COWETA COUNTY, Ga. — A man is facing four counts of murder and could be tied to two other deaths in a grisly investigation involving the Coweta County Sheriff’s Department and Newnan police.
On Nov. 5, Newnan police say officers were called to a home 267 East Broad Street for a “shots fired” call and when they arrived, officers found two men dead outside a side door.
The victims were identified as 39-year-old Willie Edward Bussie III and 43-year-old Kevin Duane Robbins.
On Nov. 7, Newnan police officers were called out to another “shots fired” call at 11 Dowdell Street. When officers arrived, they found a man in a parking lot suffering from gunshot wounds. The victim, 39-year-old Warner Mandrel Parks, was pronounced dead at a local hospital.
“It’s a shock to everyone in the community because never in his life did he bother one person,” Parks sister Felicia Parks told Channel 2′s Tom Regan. “He’s one of the most cheerful person. He walks into a room and he brightens everything up. That’s how he was, a people person."

Police say they were able to identify a car used by the shooting suspect. Later that evening on Nov. 7, police say officers found the suspect car at the Red Roof Inn on Bullsboro Drive in Newnan.
The car’s owner, Nicholas Martez Nelson, was taken into custody and later charged with murder in Parks' death.
On Nov. 8, Coweta County sheriff’s deputies were asked for a “welfare check” at the Motel 6 on Herring Road where they discovered three bodies with gunshot wounds. Their names have not yet been released.
The Coweta County Sheriff’s Department charged Nelson with these three other murder charges. He is facing a total of four murder charges, with more pending.
“'It really hurt my soul cause I’m trying to see how one person could kill six people in three days? It doesn’t make sense to me. How did he get away with the first one?" Felicia Parks said.
The two law enforcement agencies are working together along with the ATF and GBI in this investigation.
Newnan Police Department is asking anyone with information about the incidents to contact Newnan Detectives at 770-254-2355 or Coweta County Investigators at 770-253-1502.
The families of two victims have created GoFundMe pages to help with funeral expenses.
