The Atlanta Fire Department responded Monday evening to a mobile crane that fell on top of a building in southwest Atlanta.
The crane fell sometime Monday evening at a building off Whitehall Street. Crews were removing an HVAC unit off the roof at the time of the accident.
Fire officials said the building was unoccupied at the time and no injuries were reported.

The building is the downtown location for MVP Studios production company. Channel 2 Action News spoke with the owner about the crane collapse.
“It went right through the roof, through the portion of the studio we just finished and had ready to be rented next week for a major production,” J.B. Vick said.
MVP Studios equipment was damaged in the collapse. It took nearly all day Tuesday for the crane to be removed. Repairs have now begun to fix the gaping holes in the roof, which could take weeks.
