SNELLVILLE, Ga. — Gwinnett County police have reopened part of a major highway after an accident involving a police officer.
Scenic Highway at Wisteria Drive was shut down near Dogwood Road and Oak Road. It has since reopened.
It is unknown at this time what led to the crash.
Police said the officer involved in the crash is being treated for minor injuries. The accident is currently being worked by GCPD and Georgia State Patrol will be helping in directing traffic.
