ATHENS, Ga. — The University of Georgia Police Department has released new details about a computer science student who died in his dorm room in January.
David Peacock Braun's accidental death was caused by the ingestion of a lethal dose of fentanyl, the Athens-Clarke County Coroner confirmed Wednesday morning.
Braun, who died Jan. 14, was found inside a locked dorm room in Vandiver Hall, officials said.
He was a 21-year-old computer science major from Marietta.
