DEKALB COUNTY, Ga. — DeKalb County police are searching for a driver they say hit an officer who was responding to a hit-and-run crash.
Police said an officer was investigating the crash just before 5:45 p.m. Sunday behind a business off Wesley Chapel Road.
The officer told a driver to turn off his car and exit. Instead, police said the man refused and hit the officer in the hand.

“Thankfully, the officer was not injured,” DeKalb County police said in a tweet.
So far, police have not be able to identify the suspect.
