Channel 2's Michael Seiden saw the black taxi riddled with bullets in the parking lot behind the restaurant Monday.

“Our investigators are trying to find out any connection to the victims. Obviously, we don’t have a good description of the suspect vehicle, so this is all we know so far," police said.

From blown out windows to dozens of bullet holes, Dora Hernandez told us she was surprised to hear about the shooting. Hernandez lives in the area.

“I just heard about this news. It’s so bad," she said. “I feel scared and chills because I’m (trying to) figure out if my son decided to come here yesterday. He would’ve been in the middle of the shooting.”

As investigators continue to interview witnesses and review surveillance footage, Hernandez says she's just thankful her son is alive.

“I thank God that hopefully and fortunately he wasn't here," she said.
